About the Book Project

Breaking Barriers: Stories Through the Lens" is an inspiring new community project set to launch in Geelong on December 3, aligning with the International Day of People with a Disability.

This initiative will feature photographs of 25 models, all centred around the theme of disability. The project aims to celebrate and highlight the diverse stories and experiences of individuals living with disability–hidden or visible.

The project will feature portraits showcased in a captivating gallery exhibition, while the models' stories and images will be compiled into a beautifully crafted coffee table book for publication. Participants will also have the opportunity to be interviewed for a podcast series, sharing their experiences and insights. Additionally, the journey of the project will be documented through the filming of a compelling docu-series, capturing its impact and significance.
