Clare Reilly is an award-winning disability advocate, storyteller, and outdoor adventure enthusiast who’s never let multiple sclerosis slow her down. Recognised for her community impact, Clare is the recipient of the Geelong Awards for People with Disability Leadership and Advocacy Award. She uses her platform to champion universal access and inclusion in the Australian outdoors, both through her advocacy and as the voice behind the MSUnderstood podcast.


Clare is the author of the memoir Wheelchair Meets Wilderness, which documents her history-making 1,067-kilometre expedition as the first person to roll the full Munda Biddi Trail in her wheelchair, raising awareness and $100,000 for MS research. Alongside her adventures, she recently completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science and works as a virtual assistant, helping NDIS participants stay organised and show up online with confidence.


Clare lives in the coastal town of Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula with her husband, son, and their cat, Matilda. When she isn't pushing the boundaries of adaptive trail riding alongside her dedicated support crew, she can be found seeking out local roadside honey stalls, reading, or spending time in her native cottage garden.
